collaborates with ARI
Ilonga
in developing appropriate
agronomic practices for cereal
and legume crops based farming
systems. The aim is to monitor
on-station and on-farm trials
for sorghum/millets, maize,
cowpea,
pigeonpea, soybeans and
green gram improved materials
for high yielding and quality
produce. Cereals and grain
legume unit undertakes
identification of major pests
and diseases of sorghum, maize
and grain legume crops and
recommends appropriate control
measures.
