WEEKLY MARKET BULLETIN 07 - 11 June, 2021
On weekly basis, the National average wholesale prices for maize, dry beans, sorghum and round potatoes decreased by 3, 2, 1 and 1 percent respectively. While prices for rice did not change.
Horticulture: National average retail prices of different markets in the country for horticultural crops changed at different rates. Price for pineapple and onion increased by 1 percent. while prices for water melon, green pepper and cucumber decreased by 5, 3 and 2 percent respectively.
Tobacco: Up to the week ending 06th June, 2021 total sales were 19,305,139 kilograms with a total value of USD 29,043,525. ✓ Coffee: Up to the week ending 27th May, 2021 total sales were 70,043 tons with a total value of USD 137.6 Million.
Sesame: Up to the week ending 6th June, 2021 total sales were 5,099.
